BigGui is a program used to extract files out of NHL 2005,2006 & 2007. The program is downloaded on our servers. This Section will be to teach you the basic functions of the program & what they are used for. After using the program a few times it will be as easy as checking your e-mail.

To the Right you see the program as it starts with a blank screen.

File The options here are:

• New --- Create a New *.BIG file
• Open--- Load a file from the Game
• Close--- Close a file your looking at
• Rebuild--- Rebuild a file so all game headers are correct.
• Exit--- Close the Program

Edit The options are:

• Export--- Export a file out of the game this makes a copy of the original file
• Import--- Import a file back into the game
• Rename--- Rename a file
• Compress---Compress a file to the correct size (***Important***) Always look to see if a file is compressed from the start if it is then it will need to be recompressed when you put a file back in. There are a few files in the game that do NOT require to be compressed & if you do your game will crash
• Decompress--- Decompress a file to it's original size (***Important***)This should always be done to a Compressed file before it's extracted out of the game. Remember to recompress after your done if not your game will crash.

The only other thing we will focus on here is the Blue button with a R on it. (See Picture 2) This is the rebuild button and all files in NHL need to be rebuild so the game can understand that they are there. If this is not done your game might start pulling in graphics from other teams & acting weird.
